Sail-Excalibur

We encourage you to join our theoretical workshops. The goal of these workshops is to share knowledge and skills in the scope of navigating a yacht on any waters. The program consists of training in navigation, pilotage, route planning, safety, communication and “road rules”. The package consists of three courses:

SRC  Short Range Certificate – required for operation of the short range radio with DSC. Each yacht is equipped with a radiophone of this sort. Besides the legal requirement in this respect, each skipper should know the radio procedures, especially during a rescue operation or when communicating with ports.

First Aid – water sports require a lot of integrity. Many a time you will find yourself far from anyone who can help you or your crew. Therefore, you should know the principles of first aid for emergency situations. This certificate is also honoured by PADI.

Navigation Workshops – we will discuss all the issues related to planning and manning a boat. There will be many exercises and problem solving activities. Tides, currents, weather conditions, right of way – all you need to know to sail safe.



Taking into account the working hours of our participants, we have prepared an evening course. We will meet once a week in the afternoons. The program will consist of 8 meetings. All in LONDON
